Note:
Our 11" willow cuttings are sold only as
bundles of 10 cuttings. When ordering please state the number
of bundles you want. For example, if you want 10 cuttings, enter
1 in the Quantity column.
Plugs are sold individually, and
tend not to be ready until approximately mid June.
Plug size is 1.5" x 1.5" x 5" deep.
Willow cuttings are only available
from approximately March 1 to June 1, though some
varieties may be available till late June. Most plugs
are ready in mid June and can be shipped anytime during
the growing season.
With the order we include instructions for starting willow cuttings.

Minimum Order $30, but a single bundle of willows ($25)
is okay
The plugs are removed from the plug tray for shipping.

Phytosanitary Inspection fee (required by US
Customs):
A "Phyto" is required by all/most countries when plant material
crosses a border. We are located in Canada and therefore the order
must be inspected by a government inspector who verifies that
no diseases or restricted pests are being transported into the
USA with the order.
The Phyto costs the same whether you order $200's or $30's. So
the best way to make the Phyto less significant a factor in the
price is to either order more or to include a friend's order with
yours (only one Phyto needed).
A copy of the Certificate will be sent with your order.
Payment:
Orders must be prepaid by check, money order or credit card.
We can take your credit card information over the telephone.
Disclaimer
Bluestem Nursery disclaims any responsibility for damage
cause by the roots from willow species. Some willows must be contained
in small areas or planted within a large park or acreage. Common
sense should prevail when planting willows.
