Salix elaeagnos 'Angustifolia' - Rosemary Willow

aka S. elaeagnos var. 'rosmarinifolia'

Much in the same way that the rosemary shrub can be trimmed to adhere to a formal style, Rosemary willow responds to vigorous pruning. Hardy in colder climates, this willow could provide a suitable hedge for a formal herb garden, where boxwood, santolina and rosemary would die back. Ornamental.

Conditions: full sun to part shade; moderately drought tolerant; can be easily shaped by selective pruning
