Outstanding as a specimen or in a large container. Very long-lived, durable and tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Easily distinguised from the other tall Molinias by being more erect.

Description: cool season; clump forming
Foliage is medium green; blades are wide; upright; 50-100 cm (20-40") in height
Flowers July to August; 150-220 cm (60-100") tall

Ideal conditions: full sun in cool climates; needs shade and ample water in hot dry locations; like moist fertile acid soil
